In conjunction with River Annan District Salmon Fishery Board, Galloway Fisheries Trust provides a consultancy service to inform local development projects in the catchment. They have wide experience of surveying and monitoring fish populations for both large and small scale river engineering projects such as windfarms, hydroelectric schemes and flood defence. Our local knowledge and access to decades of fish survey data put us in a unique position and allows us to provide good quality data into a proper context. We have carried out surveys and produced scientific reports for organisations such as Network Rail, Scottish Power, Dumfries & Galloway Council and Iberdrola.
