Meet The Team
The Trust itself does not employ any staff. All the staff listed below are employed by the River Annan District Salmon Fishery Board but they work on behalf of the trust on relevant projects. The aims of the District Salmon Fishery Board are symbiotic with the aims of the Trust so this is the most efficient way of resourcing manpower for the Trust.

Tony Donnelly
Director of Fisheries
Tony studied Fishery Management at Barony College before proceeding to gain his Honours degree in Aquatic Science from the University of Stirling, graduating in 2008. Following graduation Tony spent three years working in fisheries roles based in the Lochaber and Argyll regions. In 2011 Tony moved to Bristol to take up a management role in the Fisheries & Recreations department for Bristol Water. During his four years at Bristol Water, Tony's role was to improve the quality of the angling experience and deliver business improvements. Tony joined the River Annan Board & Trust as Director of Fisheries in September 2015 and will be heavily involved in guiding the organisations through the impending Wild Fisheries Reform. In his spare time Tony is a keen fly fisherman and travels all over the UK and Ireland in pursuit of various species.
